PPP Low is a recombinant tissue factor trigger reagent used with Platelet Poor Plasma to initiate thrombin generation. It contains 1 pM TF and 4 ìM phospholipids (20%phosphatidylserine, 20% phosphatidylethanolamine and 60% phosphatidylcholine). It increases sensitivity in hemophiliac plasma. NOTE: This reagent is more sensitive to pre-analytical variables associated with the blood draw and specimen processing. It is recommended for use in conjunction with contact factor inhibitors such as CTI (Corn Trypsin Inhibitor).
