1. Children’s privacy

Stago U.S. does not purposefully market or collect data from children, especially those under the age of 13.   Nor is our “CAREERS” section of the website intended for the participation of minors.  Any minors between the ages of 13 and 17 should get the permission of their parent(s) or guardian(s) before providing Stago U.S. any information on our “CAREERS”, “CONTACT”, or “REQUEST NEWSLETTER” sections.  The “CAREERS” section requires that you identify yourself by age category when registering, and if you register as an adult there you represent that you are 18 years of age or older.

If you are worried about your children’s activities or their privacy on our site, we encourage you to email Stago U.S. at:  Opens window for sending

2. What information do we collect?

Information automatically collected when you visit and interact with the site:

All web servers track “non-identifiable information” or “aggregated data” about their visitors.  This information includes, but is not limited to, IP addresses, browser details, timestamps and referring pages.  None of this information can “personally identify” specific visitors to the sites, but it is tracked to improve site content and offerings and for routine administration and maintenance purposes.  Stago U.S., and third parties on our behalf, collect non-identifiable information from visitors to our site using web cookies.

Most web browsers allow you to erase cookies, block cookies or receive a warning before a cookie is stored.  Refer to your browser instructions or help screen to learn more about these functions. Cookies cannot be executed as code or deliver viruses.  However, please be aware that some features of the site may not function properly or may be slower if you refuse cookies.  And if you have further concerns on the technology we use or any queries with regard to these practices, please contact us at:  Opens window for sending

Information you provide directly to us:

Stago U.S. also collects “personally identifiable information” with your specific knowledge and consent.  “Personally identifiable information” is information that we can use to identify you as an individual (like your name, address, telephone number and any other information that is connected with you personally.)  For instance, we collect this information from visitors to our website and extranet sites when you register as a member by completing a registration form, submit personally identifiable information in our “CAREERS” section, subscribe to newsletters, request information from us using the form provided for that purpose and every time you e-mail us your details.  Stago U.S. uses this information to provide you with the specific service you have requested.

If you are located outside of the United States, please note that the information you provide to us will be transferred to the United States.  Moreover, Stago U.S. considers that all of the protections and safeguards listed in this Privacy Policy will be applied to any non-U.S. consumers making use of our websites, as long as that use does not conflict with U.S. laws or the Terms of Use.

3. How do we collect your information?

The information in the log files include your IP (internet protocol) address, your ISP (internet service provider), the browser you used to visit our site (such as Internet Explorer or Firefox), the time you visited our site and which pages you visited throughout our site.  Where necessary, Stago U.S., or third parties on our behalf, use web cookies to send a small amount of data (including a unique identifier) to your browser which is located on your computer.

Stago U.S. uses these cookies to store information about a visitor’s preferences and browsing history in order to better serve them and/or present them with customized content.  We may use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our servers, gather broad demographic information, and administer our website.  We may also link this information with your personal information, if we have it, only when we feel that it is necessary to enforce compliance with our Terms of Use or protect our sites, customers or others.
