Cellquant and Redquant Kits Now Available Exclusively Through Diagnostica Stago

(DSI) announces exclusive distribution of the Biocytex Cellquant PNH and Redquant PNH assay kits, previously available through Beckman Coulter. Cellquant and Redquant are no-wash, whole blood, single-color, quantitative, research-use-only flow cytometry assays for analysis of granulocytes and red blood cells, respectively, on samples taken from donors suspected of paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH).

Stago’s VASP Assay Used For P2Y12 Biomarker Studies

October 1, 2010, Parsippany, NJ, USA – The VASP flow cytometry assay kit from Diagnostica Stago, Inc. (Stago), examines platelet responsiveness to specific platelet ADP receptor (P2Y12) antagonists and their in vitro effects, and may also be used as a biomarker to track hemostatic effects of P2Y12 inhibitors such as clopidogrel (PLAVIX) and other drugs targeting this receptor. Additionally, as the assay is P2Y12-specific and independent of other platelet receptors, aspirin and abciximab (ReoPro®) do not interfere. Additionally, VASP can be used to perform research on genetic causes of P2Y12 functional deficiency.
